The
project aims to achieve three outcomes:
- Strengthened GDCE capability in
achieving gender equality and diversity.
- Gender-responsive and socially
inclusive institutional policy, process, and practice within GDCE.
- Increased learning and replicating
good practices and models to advance gender equality in the GDCE in
Cambodia and across ASEAN Member States.
Pilot Activities Completed:
- Facilitated two sensitisation workshops with 100 GDCE leaders and staff to raise awareness about the new project and introduce key concepts of gender equality and disability inclusion.
- Completed an organisational gender equality and diversity (GED) assessment, using both quantitative and qualitative methods. The assessment survey followed the WCO’s Gender Equality Organisational Tool (GEOT).
- Developed an organisation-wide GED action plan, containing 10 actions to address structural barriers of gender equality and inclusion, both at the institutional and service provision level of GDCE.
